These lower casseroles are fantastic to steam or boil vegetables and asparagus can lay flat in the 24 cm low casserole. Put your cauliflower in one layer deep and include a topping of cheese on every rosette and then bring the dish straight to the table. Presentation is piping hot and beautiful. The rondeau’s are identical in shape to the sautepans, minus the big handle. For that reason the rondeau’s are easier to lift.
Do not forget to add a perfectly fitting cover for your new rondeau.
